Cori Boehm- Peterson is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who has worked in the mental health field with children, adolescents and families since 1996. Her experiences have been in Child Protection, Shelters for Youth, Therapeutic School Programs and Mobile Crisis Team. She has also served as the Clinical Supervision of Social Workers. Cori supports individuals and families in achieving better understandings of themselves and each other by learning skills to improve their daily quality of life. Cori does this by reinforcing/teaching skills as individuals and families work to improve communication skills, perspective taking skills, self- regulation of thoughts, behaviors, and emotions, coping skills with self-calming strategies, and teaching key steps in problem solving situations. Cori treats children ages 8 and above, young adults and adults. Cori is currently co-leading the Emerging Adult DBT Skills Training Group with Andrea Robertson MSW, LICSW and the Women’s DBT Group with Kathrine Brathen, MA, LP and is beginning to see DBT clients for Individual DBT Therapy as well.
