I am passionate about the process of therapy, and I love my work as a therapist! I am energized by working with a variety of ages of individuals, from children to older adults. I particularly enjoy working with young adults. I intend to meet each client with acceptance and compassion, meeting clients where they are at in the therapeutic process. It is my aim to collaborate with clients to reach their therapeutic goals and explore the concerns that they would like to examine more deeply. I am rooted in a psychodynamic approach which explores the potential origins of maladaptive patterns in an individual’s habits or relationships. Additionally, I utilize aspects of internal family systems (IFS) therapy to facilitate one’s personal exploration of their inner world. I also incorporate the use of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychoeducation and mindfulness strategies to support clients in gaining coping tools and insights. I utilize trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TFCBT) to treat children and adolescents who have experienced trauma. Additionally, my background includes working with older adults who are in caregiver roles, facing health concerns, depression or anxiety.
All are welcome in my office! I look forward to journeying with you through the challenges and joys of life.
